"Planting Seeds for the Future in the Soil of our History" 1 Corinthians 3:6-7
The North Texas District Association is a fellowship of voluntary churches in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex in the state of Texas. Our governing body is The National Baptist Convention of America, Incorporated (NBCA).
The focus of the NTDA has been upon Christian education, home missions in the state of Texas, and foreign missions in Belize.
EQS (Equipping Saturdays) is a part of the North Texas District Congress. It is an educational platform designed to equip the minds, hearts and imaginations of Christian laymen to hear and respond in love to issues of our world. Supported by local pastors and ministry leaders at every level; EQS is a special conference format designed to meet the needs of believers using a peer conferencing method. The method encourages participants to learn from Scripture but also from the experience of others who serve beside them in the local church.
The Ministers' Wives and Widows Auxiliary is comprised of the wives and widows of preachers and pastors of NTDA churches. Our goals are to give of our time, talent and treasure within NTDA as we cultivate a common bond, by sharing our experiences with the purpose of mentoring, encouraging, inspiring and motivating one another. Our on-going effort is to pray and study God's word together to enhance our personal and spiritual growth to strengthen the ministerial family and to better serve the congregations wherein we worship.
Christian men following in the footsteps of the Great Commission, witnessing, encouraging lost men and boys to come to Christ and teaching them to observe all things, and to undergird the whole church program. Our purpose is to mobilize each brother in the North Texas District Association in a larger Kingdom team Ministry.
The North Texas District Women serve with God's guidance to continue carrying out the Great Commission as a model for teaching, learning, evangelism and mission outreach on these shores as well as foreign fields.
The Mission of the Women's Intermediate Auxiliary is to adhere to the mandate of the Lord in Matthew 18:18-20, by being spiritually equipped to meet the total needs of mankind.
The Junior Women's Auxiliary Mission is the Work of the Kingdom (Galatians 2:20; @ Thessalonians 1:12)
The members of this Auxiliary are servants of God, serving all of God's people. We eagerly meet, greet and seat our guests and prepare ourselves for this ministry through Bible Study and ongoing training. Special projects include: providing personal hygiene items to underserved care facilities and Thanksgiving baskets to needy families in our community. We provide support to all auxiliaries of this Association, as well as State and National.
Our mission is to aid the youth in the development and maintenance of a personal relationship with God, through teaching and servitude, so that they exhibit the life of a Christian daily (Romans 12:2, Jeremiah 29:11). Youth are provided:
